Pricing Guide

Transparent Pricing, Personalized Service

At Joshua Bird’s Professional Multiservice, my assessment fees are structured to be fair, predictable, and proportional to the complexity of the task. These fees reflect the time required to professionally evaluate your project, identify hidden “occupational factors,” and provide you with a clear, reliable path forward.

  • $75 Assessment Fee: Reserved for complex Handy Repairs, Installations, and Shopping Cart Maintenance. These services typically require more extensive diagnostic time, specialized tool staging, and detailed structural evaluation.

  • $60 Assessment Fee: Applied to Product Assembly and Smart Home Setup. These categories generally involve standardized hardware verification and configuration, allowing for a more streamlined assessment process.

  • $50 Assessment Fee: My Baby-Proofing Service is uniquely categorized. As a father expecting a new baby girl this July, I understand the unique financial and emotional demands of welcoming a little one into the home. I keep these fees intentionally low to ensure that professional-grade safety and peace of mind remain accessible to all families in our community.

The Same-Day Advantage: To provide maximum value, these assessment fees are waived entirely if you choose to begin your service on the same day as your assessment. My goal is to save you time and help you get your home ready as efficiently as possible.

⏱️ Hourly Billing Policy

To provide the most accurate and fair pricing for your project, all hourly labor is tracked using the following standards:

  • 15-Minute Intervals: hourly rates are charged in 15-minute increments.

  • Rounding: All time is rounded up to the next 15-minute interval (e.g., a 70-minute job is billed as 1 hour and 15 minutes).
